Hello! My name is Amanda, I am a Licensed home Daycare provider located in Plainfield, IL .

I provide quality childcare in a family atmosphere that promotes the physical and emotional well being of each child.

My goal is to provide a fun, safe, nurturing and learning environment for your child. Where your child will get the attention, love and care he or she deserves. I believe children learn best when they can interact actively with their environment. We are committed to helping each child develop fully such as: physically, socially, emotionally & cognitively while in a family atmosphere, full of positive influence and love.

I have been providing childcare since 2005 as well as 21 years of experience as a parent. I am Licensed through the State of Illinois DCFS and have met all the health and safety guidelines.

I attend many child related classes each year to keep up with new and improved ideas for my daycare. CPR and first aid certified, health & sanitation certified.

I have dedicated the whole first floor of my home to our family daycare. Our rooms are bright, open and filled with many activities for your child to learn and explore. Daily activities are well balanced and geared to the needs of the children served. We provide the children with a structured but not strict daily routine. A balance of active and quiet play activities both indoor and outdoor in which children use both small and large muscles. I work hard at preparing every child for kindergarten in a fun and positive environment. Activities include: circle time, arts and crafts, sensory play, steam stations, music and movement, weekly themed lessons, story time, professionally preschool program, walks to the nearby park and outdoor activities in my child friendly fenced-in yard and much more.

All materials are age appropriate to meet the developmental needs of the children in care. Materials and toys are always kept clean, orderly and accessible to the children.

I maintain low teacher to child ratios, so each child can get the attention and individual care to develop and grow to the fullest he or she needs. We serve yummy, healthy home cooked meals and snacks. Our home is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly every day and throughout as needed.
